What is the significance of an antiseptic smell?

Question: we have recently begun to smell a strong tcp scent only in one room, this has only recently
started to happen. Could you let me know if possible what it could be.
Answer: I am assuming that "tcp" is the antiseptic? If the smell is constant - that is, it doesn't come and go,
doesn't correspond with other paranormal phenomena - then there is probably a normal explanation for it.
This might be difficult to determine because a smell might be constant but because you get used to it, it
may seem like it goes away when really it does not.
Smells are actually more common than visual experiences, so it is possible that your tcp odor is
paranormal. However, without knowing more about the situation, it's hard to say. If the smell is
random/unpredictable, I would ask if anything has changed in that room - construction, ripping up carpet,
renovation, that kind of thing. Paranormal activity often kicks up during renovations.
